Single Game Tickets on Sale Today

The San Rafael Pacifics (independent, Pacific Association) announced today their 2017 promotional schedule as they kicked off their sale of single game tickets for the season that begins with their home opener on June 6, 2017.

Known for their fun and irreverent promotions, the Pacifics have exciting events programmed for each of their 39 home games, including a full calendar of “Special Events” of great giveaways, appearances and whacky events as well as “Weekly Promotions” that will make attending Pacifics games more fun than ever before.

Special Events Calendar

The “Special Events” Calendar is more exciting than ever and offers fans a range of opportunities to get free “stuff”, to meet some amazing people and to salute all kinds of wild things.

The 2017 Promotional Schedule kicks off on June 6th with our traditional “Opening Day Pin” presented by Marin Subaru.  We’ll have a great program of awards and special recognitions that you won’t want to miss.

T-shirt giveaways have always been a big winner for Pacifics fans and this year we’ve got an awesome selection of 7 free t-shirt giveaways.  On June 7th, we’ll be giving away a totally cool and distinctive looking t-shirt presented by our wine partner, Chronic Cellars.  Then, on Saturday night, June 17th we’ll make history with our “Best Team on Grass” t-shirt sponsored by Scot Candell and Associates, famed medical marijuana attorneys.  Not to be outdone, our friends at Alten Construction will be giving away a Pacifics jersey on Friday, July 21st.

We’ll also have t-shirt giveaways on July 23rd for National Hot Dog Day courtesy of United Markets and on August 17th for Hispanic Heritage Night sponsored by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Finally, we’ll have the most unique t-shirt ever on Saturday August 26th, when we give out specially designed “Bras for the Cause” t-shirts sponsored by United Markets and Pleasures of the Heart as a part of our breast cancer awareness game that will feature Pacifics players making history as the first men’s professional baseball team to wear bras!  Local artists, celebrities and our players will be creating original artworks on their bras to be auctioned off to raise funds for the Tri-Valley SOCKS.

But t-shirts aren’t all we’re giving away this year.  On June 9th, we’re celebrating a “Salute to #2” sponsored by Peter Levi Plumbing; on Sunday June 11th, we’ve got our annual “Bark in the Park” event with free Frisbees courtesy of Pet Emergency & Specialty Center of Marin; and for our traditional “Father’s Day” celebration on Sunday June 18th we’ll let the kids play catch on the field with their Dad’s before the game and all the Dad’s will get a free mason jar beer mug courtesy of Budweiser.

We’ll be celebrating Jewish Heritage Night on June 22nd sponsored by the Jewish Community Center; Irish Heritage Night on July 13th; and Italian Heritage Night on August 24th.

It’s “Team Picture/Trading Cards Day” on Sunday July 2nd, sponsored by the Bank of Marin; and for those of you who want to keep your lovers safe at home, on July 27th we’ve got a special “Fuzzy Handcuffs” giveaway courtesy of Barbier Security.

On Saturday, June 10th we’re celebrating “Health and Wellness in Marin” sponsored by Body Kinetics.  Plan to come out for some yoga and fitness demonstrations, healthy food options and all kinds of wellness information.

On August 4th, we’re taking on a major public issue with our “Alternative Facts Night”, which will be the most wonderful, special night ever in the history of the world.  Then on August 5th courtesy of Perry’s on Magnolia, we’re presenting the first annual winner of the “Alexis Busch Award”, honoring the foremost woman baseball player in the U.S. who will also be invited to play for the Pacifics that night.

Also, in recognition of women in the community, we’re going to have our first annual “Mom’s Night Out” on Saturday July 22nd, sponsored by Marin Roto Rooter.  Women will participate in on-field games and wine/beer tastings during the game and after the game the Mom’s will square off in a kick ball challenge tournament including Pacifics players and adult beverage games leading to the crowing of the “Mom’s Night Out Champions”!

There’s much more going on this summer with the Pacifics.  We’re celebrating the 40th anniversary of Elvis’ death on August 16th with a special afternoon game called “Elvis Day”; of course, on August 25th we’re going dance crazy with our insanely popular “Dancing with the Pacifics” sponsored by Love2Dance; and on Sunday August 27th we’re doing our annual “Homerun Derby” but this year it’s got a twist – former Pacifics slugger and San Rafael High’s baseball coach, Steve Detwiler, will be challenging the top high school sluggers from Tam, Redwood, San Rafael, Terra Linda, Marin Catholic, Novato and San Marin.

We’ll end the season on Thursday August 31st with our annual “Fan Appreciation Day”.
