Pacifics, Chronic Cellars Announce Partnership
Paso Robles Based Winery to Offer Wines at Albert Park
San Rafael, CA – The San Rafael Pacifics independent minor league baseball team and Paso Robles-based Chronic Cellars announced today a partnership that will include naming rights to the Pacifics beer and wine stand, a co-branded tee shirt giveaway, hospitality events, wine tastings at Albert Park as well as sale of Chronic Cellars wines at Pacifics games.
Chronic Cellars, launched in 2008 by brothers Jake and Josh Beckett, made its hip and edgy reputation based on its skull and skeleton woodcut print labels and wine names as well as on the strength of its quality blended wines. At Pacifics games, Chronic Cellars will be offering its Eunice X, a Chardonnay blend; Purple Paradise, a Zinfandel/Petite Sirah blend; and Spritz and Giggles, a sparkling wine consisting mainly of pinot and chardonnay.
“We are so excited to partner with Chronic Cellars for Pacifics games, “said Pacifics Vice President of Sales and Marketing Kim McGinnis. “Our fans are going to love the wines and get a real kick out of the cool and trendy label art. It’s really unique and outside the norm, which is, of course, what the Pacifics are all about.”
On Wednesday, June 7th, Pacifics fans will get a chance to wear the Chronic Cellars logo. That night the first 250 fans attending the Pacifics game against the Pittsburg Diamonds will receive a free Pacifics/Chronic Cellars tee-shirt courtesy of Chronic Cellars.
