Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations
Greg Mroz comes to the Pacifics from the Clinton LumberKings of the Midwest League, where he spent the previous two seasons in their Broadcast and Media Relations department. For the 2016 season, he was the LumberKings’ Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations, handling all game broadcasts as well as all public communications for the team. Additionally, Greg served as the team’s community relations liaison, working closing with the LumberKings parent club (Seattle Mariners) to help create a close relationship between the LumberKings and the Eastern Iowa community.
A 2015 graduate of Northwestern University, Greg spent his time as a student working in the broadcast operations department of Northwestern Athletics. While there, he worked on all aspects of broadcast production, ranging from play by play of Northwestern events for the Big Ten Digital Network to behind the scenes production for network and video board events. Outside of broadcast operations, Greg was a part of WNUR, the student run radio station, where he ran the sports department as a senior. He was also a part of the Northwestern News Network, the student television station, serving as the sports director for two years. His first major foray into baseball came during the summer of 2013, where he broadcast games for the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and returned to Cotuit in 2014 in the same role. Greg was born and raised in San Rafael.
