May 22 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 10-6 at Albert Park, scoring five runs in the first inning and three more in the second to take an early 8-1 lead. San Rafael added single runs in the fourth and eighth innings, while Vallejo scored five times in the eighth to make the game closer before the Pacifics finished the win.
Aki Buckson led San Rafael’s offense with one hit, three runs and four walks.
Fred Buckson went 3-for-5 with two runs, while
Payton Rios and
Telly Hill each drove in runs.
John Bicos had two RBI, and the Pacifics totaled 10 runs and 10 hits according to the line score. Vallejo’s
Bryce Hayman went 3-for-4 with two RBI, and
Jacob Savoy finished 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Jake Dent earned the win for San Rafael after allowing one earned run on four hits in six innings while striking out five and walking four.
Marcus Watkins followed with two innings, allowing five runs, two earned, on three hits, and
Richard Kiel worked a scoreless ninth.
Francisco Leon took the loss for Vallejo after giving up nine runs, six earned, on seven hits in four innings with four strikeouts and five walks.
