May 23 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 4-3 at Albert Park, overcoming an early deficit to secure the victory. San Rafael totaled nine hits while Vallejo finished with eight, and both teams committed one error.
Vallejo scored twice in the third inning and added a run in the fourth after San Rafael took a 1-0 lead in the first. The Pacifics answered with two runs in the eighth and one in the ninth to complete the comeback and move ahead 4-3.
Fred Buckson led San Rafael with three hits in five at-bats, two runs batted in and one run scored.
John Bicos added two hits, including two doubles, with one RBI, while
Kyle Guerra drove in a run and drew three walks. Vallejo’s
Victor Valera went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored, and
Michael Pavelchak had two hits and two walks.
