June 7 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 10-4 at Albert Park, scoring 10 runs on 12 hits. San Rafael took control with a three-run second inning, added four runs in the fourth and scored three more in the fifth. Vallejo finished with six hits and scored once in the second, twice in the seventh and once in the eighth.
Blake Diggle led San Rafael with three hits, three RBI and two walks.
John Bicos went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a home run, while
Kyle Guerra drove in two runs.
Gino Hutchinson scored twice and collected two hits, and
Keith Whitaker scored once and stole two bases. Vallejo’s
Kevin Saez went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI, while
Mickey Nunes also had two hits.
Ethan Whatley hit a solo home run for the Seaweed.
Chris Allen earned the win for San Rafael after allowing three hits and one unearned run in five innings. He walked four and struck out four.
Antoine Valerio,
Richard Kiel and
Jorge Rios combined to cover the final four innings, with San Rafael allowing three additional runs, two earned, on three hits.
Anthony Espinoza took the loss for Vallejo, surrendering nine hits and 10 runs, eight earned, in 4.2 innings. He walked five and struck out four.
Donovan Dismuke followed with 2.1 scoreless innings, and
Shane Moore pitched a scoreless ninth.
