June 16 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 15-13 in a high-scoring Pecos League contest. San Rafael finished with 15 runs and 14 hits while Vallejo scored 13 runs and recorded 23 hits according to the line score. The Pacifics built a 3-1 lead through five innings before both teams exchanged four-run rallies in the sixth, leaving San Rafael ahead 7-5.
San Rafael broke the game open with five runs in the seventh inning and added two more in the eighth to take a 14-10 advantage. Vallejo answered with four runs in the seventh and three in the ninth but could not complete the comeback. The Pacifics also scored once in the first fourth fifth and ninth innings.
Kyle Guerra led San Rafael with two hits including a home run six RBI and two runs scored.
Keith Whitaker went 3-for-4 with four runs scored and two walks while
John Bicos added three hits two RBI and two walks.
Aki Buckson scored four times and drove in one run.

Jacob Savoy went 5-for-5 with three runs and one RBI.
Bryce Hayman added three hits three runs and one RBI while
Victor Valera collected three hits and drove in three runs.
Ethan Whatley had two hits and two RBI.
Payton Rios earned the win after allowing 10 hits and five runs three earned in six innings with one walk and three strikeouts.
Richard Kiel recorded the save with three innings of relief.
Francisco Leon took the loss for Vallejo after surrendering eight hits and seven runs six earned in 5.2 innings.
