June 21 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 16-4 behind a 19-hit attack at Albert Park. San Rafael scored in seven of its eight innings, including three runs in the fourth, three in the sixth, two in the seventh and four in the eighth, while Vallejo’s only late offense came from a three-run ninth-inning rally.
Aki Buckson went 5-for-6 with three runs and three RBI for San Rafael.
Kyle Guerra added three hits, four runs and five RBI, while
John Bicos homered, scored twice and drove in two runs.
Chris Wright also homered and finished with two hits and an RBI, and
Keith Whitaker had three hits, three runs and an RBI. San Rafael hit three home runs in the game and also collected doubles from Buckson Bicos and Whitaker.
Chris Allen earned the win with eight innings of two-hit ball. He allowed one run, none earned, walked two and struck out seven.
Keith Whitaker worked the ninth for San Rafael, allowing two hits and three earned runs.
Vallejo finished with four hits and received RBI from
Bryce Hayman Ethan Whatley and
Jacob Savoy.
Christian Zellner took the loss after allowing nine hits and seven runs over four innings.
Gabriel Neustadt pitched two innings and allowed three runs, while
Shane Moore surrendered four runs in the ninth.
