July 13 2025 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Seaweed 13-6 at Wilson Park, collecting 14 hits while limiting Vallejo to 10. San Rafael improved to 38-16, while Vallejo fell to 17-37.
San Rafael scored twice in the second inning before breaking the game open with seven runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth. Vallejo scored once in each of the first, third, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings, but could not overcome the Pacifics’ offensive surge. San Rafael committed one error and Vallejo made five.
Jorge Rios went 4-for-5 with three runs and two RBI for San Rafael, while
Kyle Guerra collected four hits and two RBI.
Gino Hutchinson added two hits and two RBI, and
John Bicos and
Fred Buckson each drove in two runs.
Jared Greer earned the win after allowing four hits and three earned runs over five innings with four walks and three strikeouts.
Richard Kiel and
Nick Gajewski each worked two scoreless innings in relief, with Gajewski striking out two.
Michael Pavelchak led Vallejo with three hits and an RBI, and
Matt Lazcano was charged with the loss after
Adrian Morales allowed four runs on four hits without recording an out.
