BAKERSFIELD, California — May 26, 2026 — The Bakersfield Train Robbers jumped out early and held off the San Rafael Pacifics for a 10-4 win.

Bakersfield scored three runs in the first inning and added single runs in the third before putting up three more in the fourth to build a 7-0 lead.

San Rafael answered with three runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth, but Bakersfield shut the Pacifics down the rest of the way and added three insurance runs in the eighth.

Cade Fujii led Bakersfield, going 3-for-5 with a double, three RBIs, and two runs scored. Christian Alamirano added two hits and an RBI, while Joe Riddle, Dylan Heil, Sean Connolly, and Joe Starick each drove in a run.

For San Rafael, Aki Buckson and John Bicos each had two hits and two RBIs. Fred Buckson and Payton Rios also had two hits for the Pacifics.

Tristan Perry earned the win in relief for Bakersfield, allowing one run over 3.1 innings while striking out six. Kohto Hasegawa took the loss for San Rafael.

Bakersfield finished with 10 runs on nine hits and one error. San Rafael had four runs on 11 hits and committed three errors.
