Best Individual Performances of the 2021 San Rafael Pacifics Season
The 2021 San Rafael Pacifics season marked the club's first season in the Pecos League and featured a collection of memorable individual performances. Michael Theisen emerged as one of San Rafael's most dangerous hitters, while Jarrod Dumont, Steve Domanski and other members of the pitching staff delivered some of the club's strongest outings. Michael Theisen wasted no time making an impact in San Rafael's 2021 season opener on June 9 against the Martinez Sturgeon.
Theisen went
2-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs, two runs scored and a walk as the Pacifics defeated Martinez 13-11 at Joe DiMaggio Park.
Theisen's home run and three RBIs helped San Rafael win a wild game in which the Pacifics scored 13 runs despite recording only 11 hits.

Don Andre Clark Scores Three Times in 13-11 Victory
Don Andre Clark also played a major role in San Rafael's season-opening victory.
Clark went
2-for-5 with three runs scored and a walk. His ability to repeatedly reach base helped set the table for the middle of the Pacifics lineup.
In a game ultimately decided by only two runs, Clark crossing the plate three times proved extremely valuable.

Kyle Ulanday Reaches Base Four Times and Earns the Save
Kyle Ulanday made an impact both at the plate and on the mound in the June 9 opener.

Aaron Haynes earned the victory on the mound in the June 9 season opener and contributed offensively as well.
Haynes collected

Alex MacKinnon Strikes Out Eight in Three Scoreless Innings
Alex MacKinnon delivered an unusual and dominant strikeout performance on June 17 against the Monterey Amberjacks.
MacKinnon pitched
three innings, struck out eight, allowed only three hits and one walk and did not allow an earned run.
Recording eight strikeouts while getting only nine outs made MacKinnon's performance one of the most overpowering short outings by a Pacifics pitcher during the season.

3-for-4 with a home run as San Rafael defeated the Amberjacks 6-4 at Albert Park.
It gave Theisen another three-hit, home-run performance only seven days after doing the same thing against Monterey on July 22.

Jarrod Dumont Works Eight Strong Innings
Jarrod Dumont once again gave the Pacifics length on July 29.
Dumont pitched
eight innings, struck out five and allowed two earned runs while earning the victory in San Rafael's 6-4 win over Monterey.
Combined with his nine-inning performance one week earlier, Dumont gave the Pacifics
17 innings over two victories against Monterey.

Steve Domanski Throws Six Innings of One-Hit Shutout Baseball
Steve Domanski delivered one of the finest pitching performances of San Rafael's season on July 31 against Martinez.
Domanski pitched
six shutout innings, allowed only one hit, did not walk a batter and struck out seven.
He faced only 21 hitters and threw 72 pitches, 45 for strikes. Martinez managed just one hit during his six innings as San Rafael built a commanding lead.
Domanski also contributed at the plate, going
1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Kyle Ulanday Scores Four Runs and Reaches Base Five Times
Kyle Ulanday had one of the season's most unusual offensive lines during San Rafael's 18-3 victory over Martinez on July 31.

Michael Theisen's Outstanding 2021 Season
Michael Theisen was at the center of many of San Rafael's biggest offensive performances.
He opened the season with a two-hit, three-RBI, home-run performance against Martinez, later went 3-for-5 with a homer against Monterey, followed that with a 3-for-4 home-run game against the same club, and homered again during the Pacifics' 18-run victory over Martinez.
Theisen finished his 2021 San Rafael season with a
.356 batting average, seven home runs and 28 RBIs, making him one of the Pacifics' most productive offensive players.

A Memorable First Pecos League Season in San Rafael
