Best Individual Performances of the 2024 San Rafael Pacifics Season
The 2024 San Rafael Pacifics season featured big offensive games, dominant pitching performances and several players who delivered memorable individual efforts. From multi-home-run games and four-hit performances to pitchers taking control for seven innings or more, the Pacifics had plenty of standout individual moments during the 2024 season.
Mark Hernandez Goes 4-for-5 with Two Home Runs
Mark Hernandez produced one of the biggest offensive performances of San Rafael's season on June 7 against the Vallejo Seaweed.
Hernandez went
4-for-5 and hit two home runs as the Pacifics defeated Vallejo 11-7 at Albert Park.
The four-hit, two-homer performance made Hernandez the centerpiece of San Rafael's offense. It was an outstanding combination of average and power and one of the Pacifics' signature individual hitting performances of 2024.

Aki Buckson Scores Five Runs in 19-1 Rout
Aki Buckson was almost impossible to keep off the bases on June 2 against the Martinez Sturgeon.
Buckson went
3-for-5 with a home run, five runs scored, an RBI and a walk as San Rafael overwhelmed Martinez 19-1.
Scoring five times in one game was a remarkable individual accomplishment. Buckson also stole a base as San Rafael accumulated 23 hits and scored 19 runs.

John Bicos Homers and Drives In Four
The June 2 victory over Martinez also featured a huge game from
John Bicos.
Bicos went
2-for-6 with a home run, four RBIs and three runs scored. His four RBIs were the most by a Pacifics hitter in the game as San Rafael rolled to the 19-1 victory.
Bicos supplied the power and run production in the middle of an offense that finished with 23 hits.

Blake Diggle Goes 4-for-4
Blake Diggle had a perfect four-hit performance in the same 19-1 victory over Martinez.
Diggle went
4-for-4 with three RBIs, three runs scored and two walks. He also doubled during the game.
Diggle reached base in all six of his plate appearances, making it one of the most complete offensive performances by a Pacifics hitter during the season.

Mark Hernandez had another huge game on June 2 against Martinez.
Hernandez went
4-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Combined with Diggle's four-hit game, Buckson's five runs and Bicos' four RBIs, Hernandez helped make the 19-1 win one of San Rafael's biggest offensive games of the season.

Chris Blyskal Collects Four Hits
Chris Blyskal joined the hit parade against Martinez by going
4-for-5 with three runs scored and an RBI.
Blyskal also doubled, giving San Rafael another four-hit performance in a game in which the Pacifics had four different hitters record at least three hits.

Kohto Hasegawa Allows One Hit Over Seven Shutout Innings
While San Rafael's offense was putting up 19 runs on June 2,
Kohto Hasegawa was putting together one of the Pacifics' most dominant pitching performances.
Hasegawa threw
seven shutout innings and allowed only one hit. He walked three and struck out three while facing 28 hitters.
Hasegawa also contributed at the plate with a hit, an RBI and a double. Jason Hartwick completed the final two innings as San Rafael held Martinez to only three hits in the 19-1 victory.

Jayson Summers Goes the Distance Against Martinez
Jayson Summers delivered one of San Rafael's strongest workhorse performances on June 8 against the Martinez Sturgeon.
Summers
pitched all nine innings for the Pacifics, facing 36 hitters and earning the victory.
Summers also helped himself offensively, going
2-for-3 at the plate. A starting pitcher throwing nine innings and contributing two hits made it one of the most unusual and impressive all-around performances of San Rafael's season.

Telly Hill Drives In Four Against Bakersfield
Telly Hill delivered a big run-producing performance on June 20 against the Bakersfield Train Robbers.
Hill went
2-for-5 with four RBIs, two runs scored and a walk as San Rafael scored 11 runs.
His four RBIs led the Pacifics, while San Rafael collected 14 hits in the high-scoring game at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

Alex Valasek delivered when San Rafael needed a strong pitching performance on July 11 against the Marysville Drakes.
Valasek earned the victory as the Pacifics edged Marysville
3-2 at Albert Park. The San Rafael pitching staff struck out 16 Marysville hitters in the game, and Valasek helped keep the Drakes' offense under control long enough for the Pacifics to win the low-scoring contest.

The July 11 win also included an unusual offensive performance from
Esai Santos.

1-for-2 with two walks and scored all three San Rafael runs in the Pacifics' 3-2 victory.
Santos also stole
