Best Individual Performances of the 2026 San Rafael Pacifics Season
The 2026 San Rafael Pacifics season featured huge offensive nights, dominant starts on the mound and several players delivering memorable performances when the Pacifics needed them most. From multi-homer games and seven-RBI explosions to complete-game pitching performances, these were some of the standout individual efforts of the Pacifics' 2026 season.
Calan Zemaitis Drives In Seven Against Martinez
One of the biggest individual offensive performances of the entire season belonged to
Calan Zemaitis
on July 26 against the Martinez Sturgeon. Zemaitis went
3-for-4 with a home run, a double, seven RBIs and a run scored as San Rafael rolled to a 16-8 victory.
Zemaitis immediately put the Pacifics in control with a three-run homer in the first inning. He followed with a two-run double in the second and continued driving in runs as San Rafael built a commanding early advantage. Seven RBIs in one game made it one of the most productive offensive performances by a Pacifics player all season.

Fred Buckson's Two-Homer, Five-RBI Game
Fred Buckson
delivered one of San Rafael's biggest power performances on June 6 against the Austin Weirdos. Buckson went
3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBIs and two runs scored in a 13-5 Pacifics victory.
Buckson was right in the middle of an offense that scored 13 runs on 10 hits. His two home runs accounted for five of San Rafael's runs and turned the game into one of his signature performances of the season.

John Bicos Goes 4-for-6 with Four RBIs
The Pacifics scored 18 runs against Austin on May 23, and
John Bicos
was one of the biggest reasons why. Bicos finished
4-for-6 with a home run, four RBIs and a run scored in San Rafael's 18-2 victory.
Bicos homered early and continued producing throughout the game as the Pacifics piled up 16 hits and 18 runs. It was one of the best combinations of average, power and run production by a San Rafael hitter during the season.

Kyle Guerra Opens the Season with Four Hits
Kyle Guerra
started the season with a huge performance on May 21 against Austin. Guerra went
4-for-6 with a home run, a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored as the Pacifics won 14-0.
It was an outstanding all-around offensive game. Guerra collected four of San Rafael's 16 hits while showing both power and extra-base ability in a season-opening rout at Albert Park.

Alex Valasek Dominates in the Season Opener
While the Pacifics' offense was scoring 14 runs on May 21,
Alex Valasek
was dominating on the mound.
Valasek threw
six shutout innings, allowing only two hits while striking out nine. He faced 24 batters and threw 89 pitches before turning the game over to the bullpen. Kyle Deering, Riley Houghtby and Antoine Valerio completed the shutout as the Pacifics held Austin to only two hits in the 14-0 victory.

James Courshon Throws a Complete Game
James Courshon
turned in one of San Rafael's strongest complete-game pitching performances on June 21 against Austin.
Courshon went the full
nine innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out eight and walking only one. He threw 121 pitches, 81 for strikes, and faced just 33 hitters as the Pacifics won 9-3.
The combination of length, command and strikeouts made the outing one of the most impressive starts by a Pacifics pitcher in 2026.

Courshon Shines Again in Bakersfield
James Courshon
also delivered another excellent start on May 25 against the Bakersfield Train Robbers. He pitched
seven innings, allowed eight hits and one unearned run, walked nobody and struck out eight.
Courshon earned the victory as San Rafael defeated Bakersfield 10-1. Syler Pillsbury and Kyle Deering finished the game, leaving Bakersfield without an earned run over nine innings.

Jake Dent Controls Austin Over Six Innings
Jake Dent
combined with San Rafael's 18-run offense for a dominant May 23 victory over Austin.
Dent worked
six innings and allowed only two hits, one run and one walk while striking out five. He needed just 69 pitches to get through his six innings. Dent also contributed offensively, drawing two walks and driving in a run.

Jake Dent Goes Eight Strong Innings on July 4
Jake Dent
produced another standout performance on July 4 at Albert Park. Dent pitched
eight innings, allowed eight hits and three runs, struck out six and walked only one in San Rafael's 5-3 win over Austin.
Dent threw just 87 pitches and left the final inning to Riley Houghtby, who recorded the save. It was an efficient, deep start and another example of Dent's ability to give the Pacifics quality innings.

Keith Whitaker Collects Four Hits in Playoff Win
The Pacifics opened their playoff series in Bakersfield on July 27 with an 18-3 victory, and
Keith Whitaker
set the tone at the top of the lineup.
Whitaker went
4-for-6 with an RBI and a run scored. He reached safely four times by hit as the Pacifics erupted for an incredible 23 hits.

Calan Zemaitis Goes 4-for-5 in 23-Hit Playoff Attack
Calan Zemaitis
was also nearly impossible to retire in the July 27 playoff opener. Zemaitis went
4-for-5 with three runs scored, an RBI and a walk.
His four-hit performance was part of a relentless Pacifics attack in which San Rafael scored six runs in the first inning, three in the second and five more in the third to take immediate control of the postseason game.

Aki Buckson
had one of his biggest run-producing games on June 19 against the Austin Weirdos. Buckson finished
2-for-5 with four RBIs and two runs scored as the Pacifics won 10-5.
His production came in a game in which Fred Buckson collected four hits and San Rafael scored five times in the eighth inning to break the game open.

produced another four-hit game on June 13 against Dublin. Buckson went
4-for-6 with two RBIs and three runs scored in San Rafael's 12-3 victory.
Buckson also stole two bases, giving the Pacifics production at the plate and on the bases during one of their more complete offensive wins of the season.

Payton Rios Drives In Three in Dublin
Payton Rios
had a big day on May 24 as the Pacifics defeated Dublin 11-3. Rios went
2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs, two walks and a run scored.
Rios delivered a two-run double in the first inning and added another RBI single during San Rafael's six-run seventh inning. His ability to reach base and drive in runs helped the Pacifics control the game from beginning to end.

Jacob Savoy Drives In Four in Bakersfield
Jacob Savoy
provided one of the biggest run-producing games of his season on May 25 in Bakersfield. Savoy went
2-for-4 with four RBIs and a run scored in the Pacifics' 10-1 victory.
With Courshon controlling the game on the mound, Savoy supplied a major part of the offensive support as San Rafael improved to 4-1.

A 23-Hit Playoff Statement in Bakersfield
The July 27 playoff victory deserves special recognition because several Pacifics players produced standout performances in the same game. San Rafael defeated Bakersfield 18-3 while collecting
23 hits.
Keith Whitaker had four hits;
Calan Zemaitis had four hits and scored three times;
Aki Buckson had three hits and scored three runs;
John Bicos had three hits and scored three runs;
Fred Buckson drove in three runs; and
Jacob Savoy added three RBIs.
It was one of the Pacifics' biggest offensive games of 2026 and came when the stakes were highest.

A Season Filled with Big Individual Games
The Pacifics' 2026 season produced standout performances throughout the roster. Fred Buckson supplied power and run production, Calan Zemaitis delivered one of the season's biggest RBI games, Kyle Guerra produced huge games at the top of the order, and players such as John Bicos, Aki Buckson, Keith Whitaker, Jacob Savoy and Payton Rios each had games in which they carried a significant part of the offense.
On the mound, Alex Valasek opened the season with six shutout innings and nine strikeouts, James Courshon delivered multiple dominant starts including a complete game, and Jake Dent repeatedly gave San Rafael deep and effective outings.
